62: Billy Joel
Well this week y'all get bullet points because there is just too much to say and not enough time... sorry I never have time to write a quality email haha!
.Say Goodbye to Hollywood by Billy Joel played at full blast in the Argentine equivalent of CVS. It was like getting a hug from home.
.We had a dog follow us for about 45 minutes and then lay at our feet while we ate dinner at an outdoor restaurant and did Facebook work.
.We talked to a lady in the street and didn't even mention anything about church or the fact that we are missionaries but I guess she felt uncomfortable because she just turned to walk away. But then 2 steps later she turned back around and gave us her address and told us to visit. I asked if she had met missionaries before and she said no, so I don't know how she knew we wanted to share the gospel with her but she did.
.Hna Judd came to visit for a few days and we got to hang out, find lots of people in the street contacts, and eat lots of pizzas. She's one of my best friends here and I loved every moment.
.Zone conference was a blast and super spiritual! I LOVED reading Doctrine and Covenants 18:10-16. Go check it out if you don't already know it by heart.
.This week I have been making more time for my prayers, writing down my worries and questions before my prayer and taking a moment to imagine the Lord nearby. Then as I pray, I feel a lot more focused, sincere, and able to open my heart. After, I like to take a moment to write down impressions that I receive during my prayer. As I have done that this week, I have gotten SO MUCH MORE out of my prayers than when I say a half hearted and exhausted 30 second prayer right before knocking out for the night. I really do love praying haha.
Anyways, that was my really fast week, I also don't have a ton of pictures but you know, cosas que pasan jaja! Much love to all y'all reading :)
